[AoM] Castle Highhold: Insider Treachery [Event Heroic]

Info

  • Minimum arcane/elemental/noxious resist: 120k each
  • Can be done with one moderately geared healer

Details

  • Takes about 20-30m to finish.
  • 3 separate areas you’ll be fighting in
  • Name progression:
    • Insider Pinboggle (Zov’Wen Portal)
    • Insider T’shal (Zov’Fer Portal)
    • Zom Xakra’Kaas & Zona Centi’Kaas
  • Zone progression:
    • Clear the first room
    • Enter Yellow Portal (Zov’Wen)
      • You will appear at one end of the room and name on the other. When you engage it, ring event will start.
      • Name itself is immune, rooted and can be ignored once event starts
      • It will continually spawn clockwork adds (electro cell bots) which you have to burn.
      • Eventually special add, battletech spawns.
      • You have to kill 2 or 3 battletechs in order for ring event to finish
      • When battletech dies you MUST have AOE block and there must be at least one unstable bot alive in order for the event to be successful!
      • If you are successful, name will die and area will clear.
      • Once ring event is finished, go to where the name was standing and click the green sphere to receive a green crystal to be used later for final names and use portal to go back to the main room.
    • Enter Blue Portal (Zov’Fer)
      • You will appear at one end of the room and name on the other. When you engage it, ring event will start.
      • Name itself is immune, rooted and can be ignored once event starts
      • It will continually spawn grimlings.
      • Whenever grimlin dies, it will create on or two portal recallers which start moving towards the portal.
      • After about 10+ recallers reach the name and explode, ring event will end.
      • Once ring event is finished, go to where the name was standing and click the purple sphere to receive a purple crystal to be used later for final names and use portal to go back to the main room.
    • Back in the main room two linked names will appear. There are two ways of doing this:
      • Keep names separate:
        • These two names MUST be kept apart. This is done by tank (+ support healer) tanking Zona at one side of the room, and rest of the group taking Zom at the opposite part of the room.
        • If two names are too close to each other, everyone will get target lock on Zona. This is why they must be pulled and kept apart
        • Since this is done with one tank, this may seem tricky as one dps/util/healer will have to tank other name. Whomever you choose, it’s wise to transfer hate to this person, or someone else might snap aggro.
        • You MUST interrupt casting from Zom. If you fail you MUST use green crystal (from green orb in first portal room) when he starts casting (it has long casting time), otherwise it’s a wipe
        • After you burn Zom, run to tank and burn second name. This name has high mitigation buff. In order to reduce it, you must move close to the name and use the purple crystal while standing on top of the name (from purple orb in second portal room). Rest is easy tank n spank
      • Pull them both at the same time:
        • It is possible to just straight burn both of them.
        • As you get target lock on Zona, he’ll have to be killed first. Get on top of the name or at least 2-3m within the range and use the purple crystal. At least 5 need to be used to completely remove his mitigation buff (he starts with 100 increments, and each crystal will reduce it by 20%)
        • After killing Zona you’ll be able to target Zam. Rest is simple tank and spank
    • Important thing about this fight: Random person is gonna be called out. This person is gonna get incurable trauma DoT. Focus your single target heal on this person as there are about 10 ticks, each does about 500k direct pulse damage.
    • The person that’s been called out also needs to move away from the group and in direction which puts non of the group members between the name and them. Anyone standing between name and called out player, will also get the same detriment. So make sure you run in the direction where you’ll not put your group members at risk!
