Encounter Strategies

(1) A Residual Slime

Fight mechanics

  • Tank n spank
  • Spawns adds which will cure debuffs on the name

Challenge Mode

  • Higher pulse damage
  • Higher Combat Mitigation
Buffs and Detriments

(2) A Spectral Beguiler

Before fight

  • Clear all the adds nearby or fight will become more complicated

Fight mechanics

  • Heal / cure / dispel check
  • Right from the start until fight ends, name will keep casting two abilities, Slow Reactions followed by Consume Spirit
  • When Slow Reaction is cast on your group everyone will have their casting and attack speed lowered
  • Name will also have a buff of the same name that will decrease everyone’s mitigation against arcane
  • You will have less then 5 seconds to cure all dets on the group and dispel the buff on the name
  • Right after 5 or so seconds he will cast Consume Spirit
  • If buff is not dispelled and dets not cured, he will ‘consume’ part of your souls
  • Multiple failures will eventually lead to Beguiler fully healing himself and getting a massive mitigation buff

Challenge Mode

  • Higher pulse damage
  • Higher Combat Mitigation
  • Shorter limit on Consume Spirit failures
Buffs and Detriments

(3) Tzirathk

Before fight

  • Clear all the adds in the room before you pull
  • Designate one person who will do the ‘pillar’ script, preferably a caster who can dps from the distance

Fight mechanics

  • Tank the name near the table where he’s pathing
  • Soon after name is pulled two adds will spawn above the pillars
  • One, previously designated player will have to run between pillars in the middle of the room
    • Adds on top of the pillar will shoot fireball at a player in vicinity of it every couple seconds
    • Your goal here is to stand next to one pillar, get shot by one fireball then run to next one and repeat the process
    • If you stand next to one pillar, and other is unoccupied, eventually it will fill up and explore, wiping your group in process
    • Hence, absorbing fireballs from each pillar will balance the amount of ‘accumulated’ fire
    • This process must be repeated until end of the fight
    • If you have your graphics settings set to lower levels, you will not be able to see fireballs. No worries, all you have to do is to stand next to each pillar for about 5-7s
  • Additionally adds will keep spawning throughout the fight, tank must grab them fast as they hit like a truck
  • Depending on your dps, you may have to kill adds. Having multiple adds can be hard for tank and healers

Challenge Mode

  • Higher pulse damage
  • Higher Combat Mitigation
  • Adds MUST die. If an add spawns when there’s 2 adds up, you will wipe
  • Adds memwipe

(4) Dread Wraith

Before fight

  • Take a note of your surroundings, as you will have to move backwards throughout the fight

Fight mechanics

  • Pull the name and position yourself, so you’re ready to joust back
  • Once red text appears across the screen, warning you about burning eyes, joust back instantly at least 15m
  • Name will remain rooted until he casts a big red circle on the ground
  • Stepping in this circle will kill you instantly and as such you can no longer be revived (certain revives seem to work, like necros for example, although this may not be intentional and could be fixed eventually)
  • Keep moving slowly backwards every time red text appears
  • Additionally, name memwipes, be ready to taunt, snap and intercept

Challenge Mode

  • Higher pulse damage
  • Higher Combat Mitigation
Buffs and Detriments

(5) Neh’Ashiir

Fight mechanics

  • DPS check
  • Name can be tanked anywhere, preferably down the stairs to avoid line of sight issues
  • Throughout the fight one, or possibly more players will get an incurable curse
  • Every player with this curse must joust away more then 12m from everyone else, including other players who have the same curse
  • Constant power drain, and additionally further away from name you are, more power will drained
    • If your power drops bellow 20% you will die
  • There are total of 8 adds that will come into fight on time interval
    • For each add that comes into fight group receives more damage
    • If you kill all 8 adds before name dies, you will wipe
    • In case you only have one add left, stop using AOEs and cast Singular Focus and focus on the name

Challenge Mode

  • Higher pulse damage
  • Higher Combat Mitigation
Buffs and Detriments
